I am developing on the MS Windows. However, my colleague has no problem accessing the number using VB. It returned a 17digit number. I found that the ProC precompiler always interprete the __int64 type as long. I could not find anything above __int64 in the Pro*C manual. Please pardon my ignorance, how do I tell if it is a 32-bit version Oracle? It is Oracle version 9.2.0 Thank you for your help.. <sybrandb_at_yahoo.com> wrote in message
