Yes, you likely will run out of connections, unless you have lotsa server or some serialization mechanism. You want to search for "connection pooling" or "multi-threaded server". tahiti.oracle.com . Note that those tend to be scalability options rather than performance options. You might also want to check out Oracle Portal, but that may be too sophisticated for your needs (
