Well, Philippe has a history of NLS_LANG problems, so I wondered what this had to do with it - didn't recognize the filename...

[root_at_csdb01 root]# more /etc/sysconfig/i18n LANG="en_US.UTF-8"
SUPPORTED="en_US.UTF-8:en_US:en"
SYSFONT="latarcyrheb-sun16"
