We have some performance Problems due to heavy load in an oracle database 10g.
Our Server is Hewlett Packard Proliant ML380 OS: SuSE Linux Professional 9.1.
We have one Processor installed and 4 Gigabyte RAM. Would it help to install another Processor increasing the performance? Does Oracle support really 2 Processor Systems? What could be the expected gain?

regards
