Yes, it is possible - I have a version running here on my machine.

Yes, it is, but you only pay for it when you deploy it - i.e. when you install it for a reason other than developing and/or learning.

Think of it as a sample - you try it out, like it and then the bucks start rolling into for Oracle Corp.

some clues, like operating system, version of db being used and DDL.
The exact text and/or number of error messages is useful (!= "it didn't work!").
