Pure Java or oracle webforms?

Hi All,
I am writing in hope for help :-)

We (two developers) are beginning to work on a medium sized project and we have to decide which technology to use.

We must develop an internet application and we have the choice between:

Pure Java
Oracle webforms

We have extensive experience with Java but almost none with webforms (PL/SQL and oracle are no problem).

Can someone with experience with both highlight for me the advantages and disadvantages of the two technologies?
