Resources is a nonsense argument - resources are used, pending on what *you* define for an instance; which gets created *after* you install the software.

Back to your problems:
- do *not* use the 8.1.5 release, at least get 8.1.7(.4). - install the correct version of Java first; 8i did not have

    a Linux compatible java engine for the installer. - all in detail at puchitz.com
