The one I got for 8i has just my name.

.... let's leave discussions about whether one should take the exams for another thread.
Personally, I decided to just go ahead and do it rather than potentially have to explain why I didn't.
There's around 200,000 people with Oracle certificates, and I didn't want 200,000 people to be able to say they have something I don't.
