FYI
In the last month, a person identifying themselves as Michael Newport has posted
28 messages to c.d.ibm-db2 extolling the virtues of Ingres, all of them completely unsolicited
27 messages to c.d.oracle extolling the virtues of Ingres, all of them completely unsolicited
1 message to c.d.oracle.misc extolling the virtues of Ingress, all of them completely unsolicited

In the same period, there were over 250 new threads started in comp.databases.ingres, with various requests for help and information about Ingres.

The identity Michael Newport answered none of them. Zero. Received on Sat Oct 30 2004 - 17:59:14 CDT
