For a decent price, you can get a 1 year subscription to the online review and refresher material provided by Oracle. Their Online Library consists of several hundred interruptible multimedia modules available from the "Online Library" section of http://education.oracle.com

To see whether you are ready to write, I suggest you go for the Self Test Software for that. Most of the OCP exams are available and the self-study, self-exam stuff can be found at http://www.selftestsoftware.com

All (correct) answers are found in the docco at http://docs.oracle.com - start with the CONCEPTS Manual, then proceed to the DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR's Guide.

Recognize that OCP is subject to the 'myth trap' common in the Oracle world. (Many myths are due to changes and improvements over several versions, as well as out-and-out misinterpretations.) As discussed in this forum many times, some of the OCP material reinforces out-of-date material and myths, and - like many similar certification exams - the exam questions are based on the material rather than reality.

As a result of the above, a goodly number of the prominent respodents in this forum vehemently argue against the value of OCP.

My belief is simpler - OCP provides a guideline of materials one needs to understand. Use it as a guideline, BUT test, verify and recheck EVERY statement!
