The comp.database.oracle group was subdivided in four different newsgroups 4 or 5 years ago, after a ballot. However, though many ISPs didn't carry it anymore, people continued to post, possibly by means of Google.
It appears Google has now taken the only sensible measure and stopped archiving this group.
