Trivia regarding jre path order when using multiple oracle homes

Win 2k client
jdeveloper 9.0.3.1035
Oracle client 8i
Oracle client 92

When installing multiple homes I get three jre paths -

C:\progra~1\ora92\bin;c:\progra~1\ora8i\bin;C:\Progra~1\Oracle\jre\1.1.8\bin;C:\Progra~1\Oracle\jre\1.1.7\bin;C:\Progra~1\Oracle\jre\1.3.1\bin;c:\winnt\system32;c:\winnt;c:\winnt\system32\nls\english;c:\winnt\system32\nls;%SystemRoot%\system32\nls;%SystemRoot%\system32\nls\ENGLISH;C:\PROGRA~1\ULTRAE~1;

As of now (and I'm not quite Mr. jdeveloper yet) I cannot see that the jre path matters in the way that the ..bin paths matter. I may come to change my mind. ;) Anyone else have experience with jdev and multiple jre/homes?
