Throwing more RAM at a server is not a recipe for better performance. In some cases it can make performance worse. So just throwing a few larger integers at you is a meaningless exercise and as I am sure you know tuning is not a trivial matter.

First ... why are you buying the RAM? What is it in your STATSPACK analysis that makes you think this is a good idea?

When we know that we may be able to help you with whether you just wasted money and, if not, where the resource might be best put to use. We need numbers and facts related to resources. If you don't have them ... I'd send the RAM back to the supplier.
