rdbms_server_dn

Hi,

I have Oracle 8i (8.1.7.2.1) running on a W2k server.

Every now and again the server spits out a trace file thus;

• SESSION ID:(37.29) 2004-05-10 20:23:55.742 Unable to read rdbms_server_dn from init.ora.

Doing a bit of googleing I see that it seems quite valid to not have this entry in the init.ora so why the trace files?
