You really want to start studying the manual around Oracle Networking (aka Net8). If minimizing maintenance on TNSNAMES is an objective, you should consider ONAMES (deprecated) and LDAP for a centralized directory. Received on Sat Apr 10 2004 - 12:36:58 CDT
