Just an idea...

You could probably use Oracle Report... (Since you already has iAS.) Oracles buzzwords are "publish any data from any source, in any format, with high fidelity"...

You could create reports that retrieves data from several different sources. The data that can't be joined directly, can be joined using data links. Deploy your reports to your iAS server. (Reports as jsp deployed in iAS, using real time data gathered on the fly...)

Of cource this only applies if it makes sense to create some predefined reports that gather all necessary data. Note that the report can be xml you can use as input for another application.

If your final product should be a document or web page, reports is ok. If an xml document is an suitable input for your final app, it could also make sense to use Reports.
