Hi,

Is there anyway in pl/sql to determine the ip address of the machine that runs the oracle instance you're connected to? The reason I need this is that I have an instance running an a machine that gets it's ip address via DHCP, and it could change, but I want a scheduled job to run within the database that tells me if the ip address   has changed.

Thanks,
