Hi all,

Oracle Version: 8.1.7.4
OS: Tru64 V5.1B

The problem is roughly:

This query hangs, leaving the Oracle process eating CPU and doing nothing useful.

Query: select POWER(DECODE(52725,0,0,16340/52725),059) from dual
Session Wait Event:	SQL*Net Message to Client

Any information would be appreciated.
