You are the second person in 6 years that has complained about it.
Most browsers can change colors, or you can even hold down the control key and the A key at the same time.
But seriously, that's on my list of things to do next week. It's always looked ok to me, because I have a small monitor circa 1992 and so habitually don't use (anywhere) the 1024x768 so many people use nowadays (except when I space out installing linux for the zillionth time). What I hate is black on white, that pretty much ignores the way rods and cones work, as well as several centuries of art history and more recent ergonomic user interface work. I also hate java code that puts things in hardcoded places on the screen, that totally ignore browser resizing conventions and the fact people might use different resolutions.
I'm open to suggestions. Post a link of something that looks good. Must work with all browsers and be usable text-only.
