datawarehoue house rates are typically 30-50% higher than OLTP rates if you have comparable experience.

to the original poster. this sounds like a scam. datawarehousing pays well because there is a lack of people ith 5+ years of experience in it. Companies do not want to higher DBAs/developers with OLTP experience so the demand stays high.

you need to really investigate this and talk to a number of their 'students'. How much is this class? It sounds like a typical scam. You also need to listen to exactly what they say. Here are some typical things to look out for:

Datawarehouse DBAs make 'up to' $X Up to implies one or more. So technically if one person on the planet earth makes that much its true.

There are jobs out there... No brainer. Doesn't mean there are jobs for people without experience or if there are, how many and where?
