That's sure my take on it. No school can guarantee a job after you graduate because they can't even guarantee that you'll be competent or that there will be any jobs available.
Unless of course ... your tuition is subsidizing the job. If it isn't in writing its a scam. If it is in writing vigorously check references with the employers they name and local law enforcement.
One more thing: Have you visited dice.com, monster.com, hotjobs.com and looked at the number of jobs for those resources available in your area or any area?
