Unless I've totally misread the papers, the announcement, and the License document. the way I see this is:

  1. SE is SE1 with RAC built in;
  2. SE can be used in configurations up to 4 CPU whether on a 1 SMP or four clustered 1-CPU machines, whereas SE1 can only go on a 1 or 2 CPU machine.

I admit the RAC part IS quite significant!!! However, other than the above, the feature set appears to be identical in that SE does not have any more [EE] features or options available than SE1.

Am I reading this right?
