oracle 8i Personal Edition

Can I  install Oracle 8i Personal Edition on WinXP Home . The Oracle Website
states that the 8i version is for WinNT or Win2000 and that 9i is for XP.
WIll it matter if I install the 8i on XP
Anyone know of any difficulties.
