Another question. What is better Pro*C or OCI driver?

Hi!

i actually research what interface for the oracle db i will use in our c/c++ client software. so as you can see in the message before i want to use the pro*c precompiler. but now i saw some articles on the OCI driver. i have somewhere read about that it is better to uses the precompiler, but i am not really convinced about this. so what is better to uses for a high performance client? the OCI or the precompiler (and are they using the same libarys/interfaces ) ?
