Hi -

I had Oracle 9i on Redhat 9 but I have now gone to Redhat Enterprise Linux 3. There is a bug when I try to start runInstaller (message below). Oracle says to apply bug patch 3006854 (which provides rhel3_pre_install.sh), but they don't say where to get it. It is apparently on metalink, but I don't have a support contract.

Does anyone know how I can get bug patch 3006854 or rhel3_pre_install.sh ?

The error message, upon starting runInstaller was: Initializing Java Virtual Machine from

/tmp/OraInstall2003-11-27_06-09-15PM/jre/bin/java. Please wait... Error occurred during initialization of VM Unable to load native library:

   /tmp/OraInstall2003-11-27_06-09-15PM/jre/lib/i386/libjava.so:

     symbol __libc_wait, version GLIBC_2.0
not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference

Thanks.
