I see that Mark has already replied appropriately, but I'd like to add that my comments were not aimed especially at Oracle and certainly not at technet which I regard as a must-read, keeping bad stuff out of circulation is a tough job (and peer-review has its issues as well). I was more amused than anything else at the idea that useless work was taking too long so lets find a way to partition it so it fits in a time window.

A more mature approach would probably be to submit some stuff of my own (and yes anything I ever publish should be ripped to shreds I expect it) to OTN.
