A better option might be to find a company that already uses Oracle Apps and the specific module you require. Maybe your instructor / supervisor has contacts in industry that already use Oracle Apps after all he should be an expert in activity based management and should know commercial companies doing this - he may do consultancy? - It would be better to get an introduction to apps through a commercial concern and see how their business processes map to the software - talking to users and admin staff of an existing installation would be a better way ti get to know it than trying to get a CD and install it and play!!. maybe you could contact some big companies yourself? Or maybe Oracle may be willing to help if you talk nicely to them.
