Hi,

I'm using the Oracle 8.1.7 web toolkit. I've set up a DAD through the web-based GUI, by entering the appropriate connection string and username/password.

It all works fine, but I'm just curious to know where this sensitive info is stored... is it in the DB somewhere or in a config file somewhere? I can't find it in any of the usual config dirs for apache. I reaklly want to know if these credentials are stored securely, or encrypted in a config file in some way.

Any advice gratefully received!

Cheers,
