| Is it possible to get brief (conceptual) explanation for that who knows C++ :
| * what cursor is?
| * what is it used for?
| * how is it used?

|
| Does cursor have any analogy with programming language constructions?

Hi Alex.

It is analogous to a pointer in 'C' or 'C++', and can be thought of as a pointer to that table in the database. Coming from C++, I can understand, that it is a little difficult to comprehend at first.

Cheers.
