Hi Peter,

I'm also facing the same problem like you. I don't have any database in my machine and I'm trying to install oracle 9i, then progress bar hang at 85%(processing oracle database configuration assistance)...

I suspected this may be problem with jre installed in my machine. I've removed all the jre's from my machine. Even the problem persists.

Please tell me the solution if u have already figured it out.
