You didn't have to which is why I answered Billy as I did earlier in the thread.

I have to confess a certain degree of exasperation with this thread. More time and effort have been spent trying to find a work-around to a very simple problem than the problem is worth. If you and your DBA can't work cooperatively together to solve a business problem one of you should polish up your resume and leave because what you have is a hostile work environment.
