Akshally, Chester-the-cat has been getting into my dreams lately: nothing more frustrating than to have a perfect hierachical query interrupted at 4am by the noisiest purring you can imagine, right next to my ear. Must be *that* time of the year again...

Exactly. Google hasn't been the best of late with their serializationr. Must be that scaling thing, or the cache fusion...

Fact is it takes a coupla days for all the messages to fall into place across all their servers. Not easy to follow.
