Memory Requirements for Database Configuration Assistant

We're attempting to install Oracle 9i on to our Ultra 10 server running Solaris 9 (SPARC 64). The documentation says that the minimum memory requirement for our system is 512 MB, which is what we currently have; yet, when we get to the installation of the database configuration assistant the process hangs, telling us that it is out of memory.

Before we go investing in more memory, I'd like to make sure that we really need it, or whether there might be something else going on that I should be checking. Received on Fri Aug 15 2003 - 14:58:44 CDT
