S-Y-N-O-N-Y-M has never been the easiest word to type, at least for me. And try typing it with the dashes in the middle!!

Along with the lack of consistency in views and columns, it also exists in supplied packages. I'm pretty sure that they had more than one group who worked on stuff and they never talked to each other....
