Hi everyone,

I would like to use the mod_plsql to connect an IAS server to a remote Oracle 8.0.5 DB server.

Do I need to install an Oracle 8.1.6 (or higher) server on the web server machine?

This is what I understood from mod_plsql documentation: it seems that the 8.1.6 DB is needed to run the OWA libraries... but should I have a useless DB running and pay a licence for each web server ?!?!? This is quite silly and expansive, isn't it?

Thank you for your suggestions.
