OEM through a Browser and JInitiator (?)

I started the Oracle Webserver software (apache), directed my browser to the port 3339, and got a nice site. But when I try to start the OEM console, I am told to download some "JInitiator" software - which is obviously for Windows OS, while I am working on a Sun Workstation. Well, I switched to a PC and did the same. Then I downloaded the "JInitiator", but when I started the installation, it crashed (on a fresh booted machine).

Please give me some hints in order to access the OMS through the Browser. The idea is to avoid to have to install the OEM software on every PC.

Thank a lot
