Use the higher version listener only and forget about the 8i listener. Listeners are downwards compatible.

 The 9i agent is compatible with 8i, so you don't need the 8i agent.

Ports are defined in snmp_ro.ora and snmp_rw.ora. The default ports are 1748 and 1754
