Patently ridiculous. What does the table have to do with anything?
Surely you don't believe it is an imposition for a DBA to create one
table
and then GRANT privileges on it to specific users.
Perhaps I am misjudging but this seems to come from the "I want to get paid for doing nothing" camp.
