First, is OMS on the server running? i.e. did you execute the
following:
oemctrl start oms
Second, is dbsnmp running? Lastly, to log into the management server
for the first time, you use 'sysman'. I don't recall what the initial
password is, you'll have to do a search in Oracle's Documentation. In
fact, perform a search in this news group. Sybrand Baker(check
spelling) recently posted what the default password was for another
poster. Once you get logged in, you'll probably be asked to create a
repository. After that is completed, you can change the password for
sysman and set up additional administrators. The users you setup in
OMS is separate from the database.
