Well, the fact is, that Forms does not use HTML! It uses a Java applet that runs inside your browser. Communication with the server is either through a special Oracle protocol, or HTTP (in the latest Forms incarnation). So, the fact that something runs inside your browser does not mean it is based on HTML. hth
