I got following error in ProC client application.
ORA-24391 invalid fetch operation
Cause: Scrollable cursor operation requested with non-scrollable cursor.
Action: Check if the statement was executed in the scrollable mode. The only
acceptable orientation is OCI_FETCH_NEXT that ignores the scroll offset
parameter.
Environment:
client: AIX 5 64 Bit, Oracle Client SDK 9.2.0.1
server: Solaris 7, Oracle Server 8.1.7
I am wondering something as following.
- Is there any problem in this environment such as oracle version problem?
- How to check if the statement was executed in the scrollable mode?
- If I should use scrollable mode, how to use scrollable mode?
