There is an executable on the Oracle server in the bin directory named IMP (UNIX) or IMP.EXE (Windows).

That is the executable used to import .dmp files created by EXP and it will only import them into an Oracle database. To learn about this go to http://tahiti.oracle.com and search under 'IMP' and 'IMPORT'.
