OK.
OTOH - isn't supported usually means there's trouble ahead. Not certified just means Oracle did not find time, resources or whatever to run all regression tests.

Fresh install of 8.1.7, followed by 9iAS, interConnect, Workflow. On a freshly installed XP laptop, I must add, although our IT dept uses images - so I cannot really tell how standard this particular installation was. As a lot of stuff, like a virus scanner, was missing, I guess pretty standard XP. Oh - and SP1.
