If you ignore the product and version specific stuff it ought to be.

The market is very, very tough right now, but still it is self evident that people and companies design bad software, not because they don't know the tools, but because they don't know what they are doing.

Look at the number of products that only enforce RI in the app, the number of products that *require* the RBO for support - but then use CBO only features, products without indexes on foreign keys etc etc.

yep get to know how the RDBMS works and what good design is and there should still be a good job market around.
