if your in the US, your plan probably wont work. no jobs here for people without experience if you dont have a security clearance. No idea where you live, and no idea if its true where you are at. People I have talked to tell me its worldwide.

best bet is to get onto a project using a C++/.Net front end and get experience doing PL/SQL that way. Projects that do object-oriented front ends tend to want really good OO people who know a little backend. Not the other way around.

btw, not sure your certification is worth the $2000 require course. to save money do the 8i one and upgrade. Received on Sat May 03 2003 - 12:05:24 CDT
