Position location: Greater Phoenix Area
Position Scope: The Oracle Developer/Analyst will support all IT efforts
with overall accountability for assigned/defined product quality and
reliability. This position will analyze needs, develop workflow for
identified projects, design, and test, modify and monitor components of the
Oracle ERP system in support of the Company’s goal to increase efficiency
and the flow of information. Key support will be directed to both internal
and external customers. This position will be responsible for ensuring that
end-users have appropriate training in existing and new applications.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Role Priorities:
- Seamless delivery of IT products which meet or exceed user/company
standards and satisfy anticipated demand.
- Assisting in application development/revision/implementation. Defining
clear, executable project timetables and communicating progress.
- Training and end-user support.
- Working closely with functional areas/departments to determine needs and
design/build applications ensuring that the ultimate goal of Customer
Satisfaction is reached.
- Troubleshooting applications and user issues.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assists in the identification, development and design of IT products at
lowest cost, consistent with quality standards across functional areas.
Analyzes and design database components. Supports customers with querying
and data delivery as needed.
- Surveys end-users to ensure applications being developed meet the needs of
the overall user base.
- Monitors the Oracle system, recommends methods and procedures designed to
eliminate operating problems and improve productivity.
- Participates in the development of current and long-term programs, plans
and strategies in support of Information Technology objectives; assists IT
Director in formulating policies/objectives covering IT operations.
- Establishes priorities and project timelines, updates IT Director and
other appropriate individuals on status of projects, especially those
projects which are in a delayed status.
- Troubleshoots applications.
- Supports other IT needs of the organization as directed.
Direct Reports:
Required Skill Set:
- Two years experience in Oracle forms and reports.
Experience in PL/SQL and relational database design.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, problem solving and
facilitating skills.
- Ability to assist in the formulation of company-wide recommendations and
demonstrate expected value.
- Significant experience in a deadline driven environment.
- Ability to “understand the big picture” and “think outside the box”.
- Able to produce results commensurate with expectations while working in a
cross-functional environment.
- Experience with high performance teams and a strong team player.

Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field or proven
equivalent experience.
