here's one place to take a look at

http://hardware.redhat.com/hcl/?pagename=hcl&view=certified#form

there's another...just choose a manu. at the bottom.

I've used HP/Compaq/Dell/IBM/SUN....all ran great...so in my opinion, get the one with the best deal!

good luck,

Oskar

ps. One thing I've also seen which you should be aware of is using the "custom" made servers by some small local computer shop. Stay away from those, I've only seen those 'custom' servers give problems in a production environment.
The only place I've bought custom made workstations and servers from that were excellent was www.aberdeeninc.com. My ex-boss (a lab director at a lab that tests hardware and software for manufacturers before the manufacturers put the products out to market) told me about this place.   I'm not sure if I should give the lab name...I signed lots of legal papers when I started working there a while back....I don't want any trouble!
I don't trust any other place if the custom route is what you or your customer wants. Received on Sat Apr 05 2003 - 21:45:18 CST
