Dear Daniel,

Hi.

The book is "Oracle PL/SQL Programming" by Steven Feuerstein from O'Reilly & Associates. It dosn't make any reference to forms, but I was hoping to call the cursor like they described in the book from my trigger.

The page is 159 under the section called "The Cursor RETURN Clause".

If you don't have the book, here is a link to that page: http://www.unix.org.ua/orelly/oracle/prog2/ch06_04.htm This like is for the 2nd edition of the book, but the page in the link has the same infor from the book I have.

I found this link by accident when searching Google for examples on how to call a cursor located in a package.

Many things in that book are not very straight forward and you have to look in other parts of the book to find out what they are doing.

Truly,
Richard
