Go to Google and search for "oracle dba salary" (without quotes). You'll
get lots of hits. How can anyone possibly know how accurate these salary
surveys are since most seem to be from headhunters or trainers?
It wouldn't help for me to tell you my salary. I make less as a DBA than
I did as a developer. I make less as a DBA than I made 10 years ago. But
that's by choice ... you wouldn't want to work for what I'm earning.
Adding my two retirement paychecks more than makes up the difference,
though. ;-)
