The problem is that you didn't list platform and operating system.
The problem is that you didn't list version or edition.
The problem is that you didn't post your export and import statements
And most importantly ...
You didn't list the Oracle error message with full text.

Before you do this, however, go to http://tahiti.oracle.com and enter the ORA-##### or other error message code and read the solution.
